Overview

2026 Blackstone Government Relations Summer Analyst Washington, DC (with periodic travel to the NYC office). The role supports the Government Relations team with researching, monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory issues and their impact.

Responsibilities

• Providing analysis, writing, and editing support on policy memos and external communications.
• Supporting editing/development of content/messaging (written docs, grassroots).
• Conducting research and analyzing important policy issues for dissemination and analysis.
• Supporting thought-leadership opportunities and presentation development.
• Coordinating and preparing for visits with Federal, State and City government and elected officials.
• Supporting special projects.
• Working in close collaboration with Government Relations advisors.

• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive and resourceful; effectively multi-tasking and delivering results.
• A track record in successful professional relationship building and policy advocacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex technical information into clear messages that resonate with policy and regulatory audiences.

• Expected annual base salary range: $85,000.
• Actual base salary will be determined by factors including experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. For roles outside the US, salary bands follow local market practices.
