Staffing One is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Distribution Engineer residing within 25 miles of Lawrenceville, GA!
**Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years of responsible electrical distribution experience required.
- Experience in engineering design and layout for electric distribution system expansion, power requirements, and related specifications and codes.
- Line experience is preferred.
**Knowledge:**
- Working knowledge of engineering principles and practices for designing electrical distribution systems (overhead and underground).
- Familiarity with National Electric Code, National Electrical Safety Code, RUS Specifications, and construction assemblies.
- Knowledge of managerial functions for effective team motivation.
- NISC Software experience is preferred.
- Degree Required.

- Strong leadership and communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient in problem evaluation and system planning.
- Competent in directing team projects and maintaining morale.
- Skilled in leveraging technology for departmental goals.

- Proficient in staking line extensions, conducting voltage checks, and drafting sketches.
- Capable of applying codes and procedures with judgment and independent decision-making.
- Adherence to schedules and work standards, contributing to workflow effectiveness.
- Planning and budgeting skills for program development and evaluation.
This is a long-term Contract position with potential for contract-to-hire. Hourly salary ranges from $27.50 to $30.00 for candidates with 2 years of experience, with rates adjusted based on experience level. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply!
