About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for the Pacific Islands Guam region. This pivotal role is focused on mission capacity building, community engagement, and strategic relationship management. The successful candidate will be the primary liaison to the community, responsible for strengthening relationships, communicating the organization's programs and opportunities, and ensuring the region's mission goals are met. This includes managing a portfolio of strategic relationships with local elected officials and key community leaders, leading fundraising efforts, and supporting the achievement of volunteer engagement and blood collection goals. The Executive Director will also be a member of the elected officials liaison network, with the potential for disaster response deployment. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a four-year college degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's degree, and a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience. The role requires strong communication, influencing, and public speaking skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies. Proficiency in MS Office is essential, and experience in disaster-prone areas, public relations, and networking within the local community is a competitive edge. The ideal candidate will be adept at working in a team, have a current valid driver's license, and be prepared for occasional travel and the physical demands of the role.
