• Location: Austin, TX 78704 (Texas nursing jobs)\n
• Facility: 34-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit\n
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract\n
• Start Date: November 3, 2025\n
• End Date: February 2, 2026\n
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts per schedule\n
• On-Call: Not required\n
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs (no hoop nose piercings)\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1260 - $1350\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state)\n
• BLS certification (required)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry or Neuro RN experience\n
• ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (preferred)\n
• Proficient in Meditech EMR (preferred)\n
• Strong teamwork and self-motivation skills\n

\n\nMed/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality patient care on a 34-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit\n
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status; administer medications and treatments\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and unit coordinators\n
• Operate clinical equipment such as Welch Allyn vital sign monitors, PCA pumps, and Hoyer lifts\n
• Assist with procedures including dialysis, CBI, gastric decompression, and wound care\n
• Maintain a safe nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6\n
