Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

\n

• Work in 8-OR operating room unit from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
\n• Shift starts at 6:30 AM with daily huddle at 6:45 AM
\n• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios providing circulating nursing care
\n• Work with 13 RNs and 10 scrub techs in fast-paced environment
\n• Perform general surgery, robotics, colorectal surgery, neuro spine, orthopedic, and urology procedures
\n• Participate in rotating call schedule with 1 RN and 1 scrub tech on call 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM weekdays
\n• Weekend call coverage 24 hours Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
\n• Maintain 45-minute response time for on-call situations
\n• Use Meditech ORM electronic medical record system
\n• Must have 2 years OR circulating experience at acute care hospital
\n• Varied skill set in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery required
\n• Neuro spine experience preferred
\n• CNOR certification preferred
\n• 5+ years experience preferred
\n• Required certifications: BLS
\n• Must be flexible with ability to work in fast-paced changing environment
\n• Hospital-provided scrubs required
\n• Artificial nails, dips, gels not permitted
\n• May float to other similar areas as needed

The facility specializes in a wide range of surgical procedures including general surgery, robotics, colorectal surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and urology. The organization maintains modern surgical equipment and utilizes Meditech ORM for electronic medical records, providing a technologically advanced environment for surgical care.
